Several Payout Cases May Be Completed in 2008
The Hungarian deposit insurance system is celebrating its 15th Anniversary on March 31st 2008. On that day the Board of the National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary (NDIF) was established.
"The Fund’s assets and financial status has been persistently sound and stable, which also reflects the current condition of the banking system in Hungary." - summed up Dr. Peter Szekacs, Managing Director of NDIF on his press conference today.
