Experts` Visit to NDIF from the FSCS

The National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary (NDIF) received a technical experts’ team of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) on 19th November 2009 in Budapest.
The purpose of the one-day tour at NDIF was the studying of NDIF’s payout system with focusing on the payout method through debit card payment, an innovation put in place by NDIF in the year of 1999.
The British colleagues wanted to get an insight of the full-scale operations with the card payments, but also have been received a technical demo of the payout software, employed successfully by the Hungarian fund since 2003.
