The NDIF is proud supporter of the Fintelligence Financial Education Center at the University of Miskolc. The center which has been opened by Ágnes Hornung, State Secretary of the Ministry of National Economy responsible for finances, aims to boost financial literacy among university students by experience-based education. As part of the opening ceremony a comprehensive book on financial literacy has been inagurated as well. Deposit insurance and also National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary (NDIF) has been introduced as well in the book as a vital part of the financial safety net.

As of January 1, 2018, Mr. Andras KOMAR is the Managing Director of the National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary (NDIF). Andras Komar gained MA in Law at Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2004. In 2008 he received his BA in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest and became certified public accountant in 2011. The new head of the NDIF started his professional career at the Financial Services Department at the Ministry of Finance in 2004.
